Pitch Preparation & Implementation Boot Camp

Introduction

This is a pitch preparation and implementation boot camp for entrepreneurs. We help you make and test your pitch. The program is unique. This program builds the pitch based on how investors will evaluate it and not what a pitch should have. The program is for entrepreneurs wanting to pitch their startups to investors.

The program has three modules, learn, make, and test. You first learn how investors interpret a pitch and evaluate startup investments. Then you will create a compelling pitch. Followed by practicing pitching.

Participants will have access to three unique workbooks - How to become investible, preparing a pitch, and how angels evaluate early stage investments.

Program Schedule

The Program is a person-to-person live program. In two weeks an entrepreneur can craft and test the pitch. The total contact hours are six. Meetings will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.

Dr. Manoj Nakra is a co-founder of SCIP, a SaaS platform company. SCIP platforms are for Angel Investing, Startup Incubation, Creating Private Communities, and Recruitment. Before reinventing himself in technology, Manoj led the creation and implementation of many global luxury and lifestyle brands in the Middle East and India. He engages with retailers for their digitalization. Manoj has held CEO positions at The Waterbase Limited (BSE listed company), and Jashanmal (Retailer in UAE), COO position at DubaiSME (Entrepreneur Development Organization of Government of Dubai), and CXO position at Apparel Group (Retailer in UAE). His expertise and experience include retail and distribution, entrepreneurship, and technology application. Manoj is a guest faculty at IIM Bangalore. Manoj is a Mechanical Engineer (IIT Delhi), has an MBA (IIM, Bangalore), and a DBA (Case Western, USA). He has written two books. Manoj is an Independent Director on the Board of Arvind Fashions Ltd.

Award of Certificate

A strong pitch is the ‘certificate’ of the program. Dr. Nakra will be accessible to the participants after the completion of the program for hand-holding support before they start raising capital. The terms of engagement of Dr. Nakra and the startup will need to be separately discussed.
